Kyle Anderson presents Celebrate Life
In Remembrance of Paul Kim
“The things that make them vulnerable are where they stand socially and where they stand developmentally,' says UCLA Health's Dr. Carl Fleisher. “They” are young people and teenagers and they are “vulnerable” to Suicide, the second-leading cause of death among people age 15 to 24 in the United States. Nearly 20% of high school students report serious thoughts of suicide and 9% have made an attempt to take their lives, according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. August 4, 5, & 6th, we invite you to celebrate, celebrate with basketball. More importantly, celebrate life. Life is dark at times and then it gets better. If it’s not, we urge you or those you love to seek help. For 3 days in August, we are in the park and although we were forced to take a pandemic pause, we are excited for this year’s lineup and more excited to see smiling faces at the camp, competition on the courts and much needed support from local Officials. Kyle Anderson, a 9 year NBA Vet welcomes you to Celebrate Life Day. A donation will be made to Erika’s Lighthouse https://www.erikaslighthouse.org in memory of Paul Kim.
